Instructors of apprenticeship classes in Alberta technical training institutions have an impact on the success of individual apprentices.
The Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board’s Top Instructor Awards provide formal recognition of exceptional instructors.
Two awards are presented annually – one each for the North and South regions of Alberta.
Nomination forms for the 2011-2012 technical training year are now available. Click here to access the form. Be sure to complete it fully. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
Nomination deadline November 10, 2012.
Alberta apprentices attending a college or technical institute may nominate an instructor who taught apprenticeship technical training funded by Alberta Enterprise and Advanced Education. This includes instructors teaching theory, shop, or a combination of both.
A nominee for a Top Instructor Award:
The Top Instructor Awards will be presented at the annual Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board Awards.
